Session Description

In this session, we will explore fatherhood as shaped by personal experiences, memories, culture, and past relationships.

You will learn why fathers may experience parenting differently and how communication gaps arise.

Delve into how these factors uniquely influence a father’s communication style, parenting, and family engagement.

Attendees will walk away with insights they can immediately apply to strengthen communication, build trust, and engage fathers as valued partners - supporting stronger families and positive outcomes for children.

You'll Learn

What to Expect

Using audience input and participation, stories, and real-world examples, Thomas C. Rector, connects the content with situations the audience encounters in their life.

Interactive activities, animation, and visuals - including printed handouts - are used to help the audience relate, absorb, and process the information, so they can walk away with practical information they can begin to use right away.

Questions and comments are encouraged throughout the session.
