Accrescent Institute is pleased to announce that Thomas C. Rector will be presenting a special 60 min Brain Science and You: Advanced Hands-on Workshop for early childhood educators at the National Head Start Association’s 2025 Parent and Family Engagement Conference.
The workshop for this conference has a special focus to help you better collaborate with parents, families, and colleagues to understand and support children in Head Start early childhood education programs.

Brain Science and You: Advanced Hands-on Workshop

11am-12pm Eastern
In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore how brain science connects to early childhood learning and behavior, and review the key components impacting development and memories. And, then jump into a three-part, hands-on exercise with you collaborating, brainstorming, and learning with your peers.
You’ll walk away with ideas and insights to help you collaborate with families and colleagues as well as another tool to help you in your work.
